Ordering or Contacting by US Mail, Phone or Email
Email Address: If you are using
free email address with your order; please make sure you check your
email daily, if we contact you and we are unable to get a reply,
your order may be delayed.
We realize many of our customers drive some distance to our store in Minneapolis. To better assist you, please call us to check
on availability of items you are interested in. Or, you may phone or
order on-line items ahead of time so that they are ready for you
when you arrive. If we are unable to answer the phone right away
when you call during business hours, we are either with a customer
or away from our desk processing mail-orders. Please leave a short
CLEAR message, name, and phone
number - we will contact you. To order by phone, please have your
name, address, phone number, credit card, item numbers, descriptions
and quantity ready when you call. You may also mail in your order to
us. We suggest you retain a copy of the order list/order form for
your reference when your order arrives. We provide an itemized email
Order/Invoice for every order. US Mail Order: To avoid delay in
shipping your order, please include a phone number in the event we
have to contact you regarding your order. We recommend ordering by
phone if you use check for payment.

Methods of Payment
American Express, Visa or MasterCard, Personal Check and Money
Orders. Sorry no C.O.D. orders will be processed. For orders paid by
check, please include bank telephone number on your check before
mailing the order. At this time we do not accept University or
school purchase orders, only Checks, Visa, MasterCard and American
Express. When
ordering products for your classes don’t forget to order them early
so that they arrive at least 1-2 weeks before your class starts.
This will allow ample time for you to prepare for your class! Have
fun!
Please note the following as you await your order: We will not
charge your credit card until your items are shipped. For pick-up
orders, your credit card will be charged the day we call you that
your order is ready for pick-up. A note for our regular customer;
you can plan your order by ordering items for pick-up or shipping at
a specific future date (such as a month in advance), just note at
checkout in the SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS that you want your order
shipped on a specific date. This service works great with wine kits,
etc. during the holiday season.

Shipping Charge for All Products:
FedEx Shipping Charge on our website at Checkout is provided by
FedEx. Large, bulky items are heavy (e.g. Press, Crusher, etc.) and
may cost significantly higher to ship. If we are unable to honor the
shipping charge as listed at Checkout on our website, we will
contact you with an updated shipping charge for your order. (OUT OF STATE CUSTOMER: Refer to Customer
Service for more detail in “Savings in Shipping Charge”)
All orders are shipped to you directly from Barkingside Co. We do
not drop ship. For your convenience, the actual product weight can
be found in the product detail description of each item to calculate
the total weight of an order which can be used to determine the
approximate FedEx rate. For example: Item 3909
Draft System with "3.1w" means 3.1 lbs actual product weight plus
approx. packing material = shipping weight that can be used to
calculate the approximate shipping cost at
www.FedEx.com. Each mail-order
package will have a minimum of 7 oz (e.g., 8 oz loose tea) of packing material added to the total
product weight. The amount of packing material used will depend on
the individual products ordered. Shipping box size will also affect
FedEx shipping rates. The FedEx package tracking number will be automatically
emailed to internet orders. Please double-check the email address
you provide for accuracy.
Minnesota Resident Only
MN Sales Tax applies to Non-Food items. Sales Tax will not show at
Checkout but will be included in the paper invoice accompanying your
order and will also be reflected in the total sales amount charged
to credit card payments.
NOTE: $5.50 and $9.95 Flat Rate Shipping offer applies to
Consumers only and not Institutions or Commercial entities.


Estimated Ship By and Delivery Dates
Customer Care is important to us!! Once you've place an order
with us, we offer prompt and careful delivery of your purchases.
Your order will be shipped within 48 hours of receipt and often
within 24 hours. During the holiday mail-orders can take 2-3 days to
be shipped. If you are in a hurry to get your order please let us
know and we will do our best to get it shipped that same day. Approximate Delivery Date (Depends on Delivery Location):3-7 days.

order to provide consistent product quality, all products we receive
from our importers, suppliers or manufacturers are checked and
examined prior to placing them on our shelf or shipping them out to
our mail order customers. With Barkingside, you know you are getting

products you enjoyed the last time will be as good the next time is
important to us. Our products are handled with the highest degree of
care possible from the time we receive it to the time they are
shipped to you.
At Barkingside, we are focused on delivering consistent product

whether you are buying tea, winemaking or our brewing products, you
can count on our quality products time after time to make great
beer, wine and tea.
Returns and Exchanges
As "Your Neighborhood Specialty Store", we want you to be completely
satisfied with your purchase. If, for any reason, you are not
satisfied, simply return the merchandise with a copy of your
receipt/packing slip within 10 days of purchase (mail-order customer
within 30 days of our shipping date). We encourage you to return or
exchange merchandise in a timely manner so as not to incur damage or
wear. We stand behind the quality of our products and will make
things right if you are not completely satisfied. We will issue a
refund (excluding shipping cost, we will gladly refund the shipping
cost if the return is a result of our error). Product being returned
must be in new, unused condition. If you receive a damaged or broken
item, call us as soon as possible. Please keep all packaging
materials. A claim will be filed and a replacement will be sent.
Allow approximately 2 weeks to process a refund check.

Miscellaneous Information
If you have questions regarding an order you have placed with us,
please email or call us. We inspect all products from our suppliers
before we sell them to the public. All orders are carefully packed
to avoid damage during transit. In the event your order arrives
damaged, unfit or unusable, report situation immediately to
Barkingside Company for instructions and leave the damaged product
in its original condition and case.
