Brewing and Winemaking Equipment kits
Wine making and Home Brewing Equipment Kits are designed for 1, 3, 5 - 6 gal. batch of wine or beer. Easy to follow instructions are included. It is durable & expandable. We test all new equipment to make sure it brews great beers and wine before we put it on the market. So when you purchase a brewing or winemaking equipment kit from us you can feel assured that you can brew great beer or make enjoyable wine with the greatest ease.
These homebrewing equipment kits utilize the Single and Two Stage fermentation (1127 Single Stage Brewing Equipment Kit-Auto and 1130 Two Stage Brewing Equipment Kit-Auto) process of brewing beer where after the primary fermentation, for approximately 7-11 days, the beer is bottled. If, after a couple batches of homebrew beer with your single stage equipment kit, you decide to make a clearer, smoother and cleaner tasting beer, you can transform your single stage to a two Stage process by just acquiring a 6 (or 5) gallon glass carboy and a #7 (or #6.5) Drilled Rubber Stopper and, depending on the equipment kit you already have, a carboy brush may be necessary. We make it simple to upgrade without making any parts redundant. With the two stage fermentation process, instead of bottling after the primary fermentation (7-11 days), the fermented beer in the 6.5 gallon fermenter is siphoned (leaving sediments behind) into a 6 gallon carboy with the airlock attached. The carboy needs to be covered to protect it from light and allow to finish fermenting, settling and conditioning for 1 1/2 to 3 weeks or until the beer is clear to your liking before bottling. The two stage fermentation process will result in less sediment in the bottle and a clear, smooth, clean tasting beer.
As compared to our previous and other equipment kits, these brewing (and winemaking) equipment kits are user-friendly. The screw top lid that comes with the fermenter allow easy opening and resealing. It has a unique trigger mechanism that automatically locks the lid when closing, and has a simple finger-activated release to allow the lid to be opened. Does not require a pail opening tool to open and reseal the fermenter like our previous equipment kit and current kits on the market today. These equipment kits has an automatic siphoning system to transfer beer (or wine) from one fermenter to another fermenter or bottle. This siphon system does not require prior filling of water into the tubing to start the siphon. Easy to folllow instructions are included and are geared toward making beer by Muntons and Coopers and also all grain kits. To complete this kit as a gift or for yourself we recommend for your first batch, a beer kit by Muntons or Coopers and a 3lb bag of light or extra light dried malt extract (with this 3lbs of dried malt extract, you save 1 1/2 cup dried malt extract for later use in carbonating your homemade beer and use the remaining malt in your 6 gallon batch of beer when beer kit calls for additional 2.2lbs of brewing sugar). These beer kits are convenient and make excellent beers everyone will enjoy. These new equipment kits are truly a joy to brew your favorite beer batch after batch after batch......
If you enjoyed the beer you experienced in London, England; Sydney, Australia or Hamburg, Germany, these Muntons, Coopers, Mountmellick beer kits and our barkingbier kits are the way to go.
Home winemaking equipment kits are designed for 1, 3, 5 or 6 gal. batch of wine. Instructions are included and are geared toward making wine from Winexpert's Vintners Reserve and Selection series of wine kits and varietal grape jucice from California Concentrate Company and wine from home-grown fruits or from any frozen juice concentrate.
The purchase of a wine-making or beer-making book is recommended for the brewing and winemaking kits. These books are not a necessity, but they are a great resource for your fermentation experience. Easy to follow instructions are included in each kit.
